Every Bottle Tells a Story

"Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself" (Coco Chanel)

These beautiful bottles are very precious to me as, along with many more, they have been collected by my lovely Mother over a number of years, and I love each one of them.

Perfume bottles are high up on my mind at the moment, having finally completed perfume (No 3). Choosing the bottle, lid and volume comes next, along with packaging and labels, and I will share my choices with you in the coming days.

For now, let me sketch out the scent-scape of this vibrant new perfume, which I hope you like the sound of. It is a sophisticated and refreshing cologne, proven to be enjoyed by both men and women, some of whom have already pre-ordered theirs.

Having spent a lot of time wearing this cologne over the past few weeks, my personal interpretation is as follows:

It is an energetic scent, which kicks off positively with a light top note of Mandarin, Neroli and a little bit of Orange, before it seamlessly glides into a different gear, revealing Black Pepper and a watery marine accord. The ultimate dry down includes warmer notes of Tonka, Musk and Cedarwood, and one or two other notes for intrigue! I had to include Cedarwood in this cologne, as it reminds me of my greenhouse, a place I spent many happy hours in during lockdown!

The first perfume pour will be a small and limited run, which I shall first offer to my customers and readers of e.notes, before putting up on my website. More will be made in 2021.

I look forward to sharing more with you very soon.
