About
My name is Deborah, and I love perfume! I am the face behind Zoe Brown Perfume, a small, niche perfume business based in leafy Buckinghamshire.
My love affair with fragrance was triggered at an early age by my beautiful Mother, Anne, her love of fine perfume and her perfume bottle collection.
I am synaesthesic which, for me, means I smell everything in colour, and this plays a large part in my perception of scent, and how I sketch it. I have been working on a small range of artisan perfumes; each one is very personal and inspired by an emotion, a memory and a season.
I am pleased to share with you some information about my hand poured products, together with my perfume blending workshops, and perfumery boxes.
Scent is, perhaps, the nearest thing to time travel!

Black Pepper, Neroli & Cedar

Inspired by the Orange tree, its flowers, and the sound and smell of breaking waves, this elegant aftershave cologne/unisex fragrance opens with a light top note of Sweet Mandarin, airy Neroli and fresh Orange. In the heart note you will find a sophisticated and masculine marine accord, with a nip of Black Pepper, leaving the base note revealing sensual notes of Cedarwood, White Musk and Tonka Bean.

Inspired by the Chiltern Hills in Autumn, and the rich array of gold and orange leaves.
The perfume has been designed to uplift, as it opens with a fresh citrus sonata, followed by a slightly sweet heart note of May Chang and White Musk, before drying down to a warmer base note of Amber and Tonka Bean.
This perfume leads with Grapefruit, recognising its therapeutic and uplifting benefits

Inspired by the memory of Annaliese, her love of the countryside, walking on the beach, fresh cut flowers and a pot of Lady Grey tea.
The perfume opens with a small shout of Bergamot, followed by gentle whispers of fresh white floral and cucumber heart notes, before it dries down to a warm, powdery and floral scent of Ylang Ylang and Tonka Bean.

Scented with Petitgrain, this Antiviral & Antibacterial luxury liquid hand sanitising spray, has been designed as a quick dry, easy to use option which is kinder to hands, whilst providing protection.
MINIATURE WORKSHOP IN A BOX
Perfumery Boxes and Workshops
Perfumery boxes make a lovely gift, and they contain everything that you need to create your own perfume. They are available from £40 plus P&P.
Corporate packages, starting at £60 per box are now available, and include a complimentary 1.5 hour Zoom workshop. Boxes can be trimmed with corporate colours, and the materials within can be chosen to suit perfume, aftershave or unisex colognes, as requested.
Bookings are being taken for my In Person perfume blending workshops which will take place around a large table in my home in rural Buckinghamshire. Workshops will be for a maximum of four people at a cost of £70 per person, and you will leave with a bottle of your own scented creation.
