While I wait, impatiently, to get my next perfume into bottles, I have been busy with the 'Blend Off Workshops' for two people at a time, here at home in Leafy Latimer!
It has been fascinating watching some of you, who have already attended, arrive with a specific idea, to then do a complete about turn with your original scent-scape idea, once you have experienced a wider range of perfume materials.
The Blend Off Workshops for two people, are continuing to go ahead safely, with strict COVID 19 protocols in place, allowing them to run comfortably, until BoJo tells me otherwise!
WORKSHOP GIFT VOUCHERS
Exclusively for readers of Zoe Brown's e.notes, e.Gift Vouchers can be purchased direct from me. You can enjoy a morning learning some tricks of the perfume trade, with someone special, at my home in Latimer, Buckinghamshire, where you can have fun learning about something new.
I will share my love of perfume design and inspiration with you, in a safe and well ventilated environment. You will both have plenty of personal space, whether in the same 'social bubble' or not.
We shall talk about the psychology of smell and how our olfactory memory works, indeed how it influences our moods and emotions. We will think about fragrance families, before doing some nose training, whereupon you will choose your own scent palette and materials, and ultimately create your own unique blend. You will leave the workshop with a 50ml bottle of scented alchemy.
RAISING MONEY TO SUPPORT WILLIAM'S FUND
Up until 14th December, you can buy a gift voucher for £65 a head, out of which £10 will be donated to William's Fund Charity, a small charity, dedicated to funding targeted research into the improved diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancers, thereby saving young lives.
I will provide everything you will need for the morning, and all you will need to bring is your enthusiasm.
